Our Past

Founded in 1969 by 3 ex Gas Board employees, Albert Wort, Roy Brewer & Ian Davies. For over 40 years, the company has operated from Cobham, and has enjoyed a very successful history with a strong customer base.

Our Present

The business is now operated by Ian Davies and Adrian Champion, a brief history is included below.

Ian Davies

Born & lived in Cobham all his life, attended local schools in the area and further education at Croydon Technical College. At the age of 15, Ian joined the Gas Board and completed a six year apprenticeship. In 1969 became one of the founder members of WBD Heating and has been a director of the company ever since. Ian now keeps up to date with training at Nescot College.

Adrian Champion

Born in Ipswich, Adrian attended college and trained as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer. Adrian joined WBD in 1998 as a Heating Engineer and became a director in 2005. Adrian has over 20 years of experiance and now keeps up to date with training at Nescot College.

WBD also employ Barry Mepham, who has a lifetime experience in Plumbling & Heating. Also Robert Skilton, who's been in the building trade since leaving school and is also a trained Plumber.

Our Future

WBD is a sound business with a regular local client base. We are very proud of our history and we intend to continue to offer the highest level of service going forward.
